1200 years of Radolfzell

Radolfzell is celebrating a special anniversary this year: 1200 years of town history.

Under the motto “Geschtern. Heit. Morge.”, the anniversary year is celebrated together with citizens throughout the year. “Geschtern.” opens up a view of the city’s eventful past, “Heit.” invites you to enjoy the lively city life of the present, and “Morge.” makes you curious about perspectives and visions for the future.
The anniversary program is as diverse as Radolfzell itself: Cultural events, exciting historical insights and creative activities make up a wide-ranging program. Eight highlight events stand out in particular. They demonstrate the close connection between the town and its citizens in very different ways.

It is precisely these people who shape the city and make it vibrant and, above all, the place it is today. In order to focus on their ideas and commitment, 22 civic projects were launched as part of the city’s anniversary celebrations. Spread throughout the year, they reflect the diversity, creativity and identification of the people with their city. The anniversary year is complemented by several year-round campaigns, which always offer new occasions to join in the celebrations.
