The Radolfzell Christmas market takes place every year on the weekend of the second Advent from Thursday to Sunday in an idyllic setting in the old town around the market square. It traditionally impresses with an exquisite range of regional arts and crafts. From 4 to 7 December 2025, the old town of Radolfzell around the market square in front of the cathedral will shine in festive splendour: an authentic and regional Christmas atmosphere awaits you at the 48th Radolfzell Christmas Market. Browse over 40 stalls selling high-quality arts and crafts, enjoy traditional dishes such as dinnele, Schupfnudeln or chestnuts – and warm up with mulled wine, punch or other winter drinks.

Dive into SEA LIFE Constance – the underwater world on Lake Constance
If you fancy a special experience, SEA LIFE Constance is just the place for you. Here you can discover exciting marine worlds – from native Lake Constance fish to exotic inhabitants from tropical oceans. You can set off from Radolfzell on the MS Stadt Radolfzell scheduled boat. The route takes you to Iznang, Mannenbach or even to the island of Reichenau. Perfect for short breaks, walks or simply to enjoy. If you fancy a longer experience, you can continue your journey on the boats of the Swiss shipping company Untersee & Rhein – for example to Constance, Stein am Rhein or Schaffhausen. Perfect for day trips and short discovery tours.
Kletterwerk
Action & sport at Kletterwerk Radolfzell
If you fancy climbing, the Kletterwerk Radolfzell is your perfect destination – just a few minutes from Lake Constance. You can really let off steam on around 2,500 m² of climbing area: There are two large bouldering rooms, lead and toprope routes with wall heights of up to 15 m, as well as a training and slackline area. The climbing facility is also ideal for families: your children can climb in the separate children’s bouldering area with easy holds and tunnel games – and you can experience them in a completely relaxed way.
Mettnau lido
Relax at the Mettnau lido – your summer spot on Lake Constance
If you’re looking to cool off on hot days, the Mettnau lido is just the place for you.
